April 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag Review

I got my April Ipsy Glam bag and it was themed "Beauty Rocks".I loved the bag in which the products came in.The color and print is perfect but i am not that pleased with the products i have got.

Let me first tell you again about Ipsy Glam bag.In Ipsy Glam bag,each month subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. All for only $10 a month.There were 20 different products this month and each subscriber received any 5 of those items. Go ahead and subscribe to Ipsy Glam bag and You will get 4-5 beauty products every month for just $10.


What I got in Ipsy bag:

1. dr. brandt microdermabrasion (full size $78, sample $9) 

dr. brandt microdermabrasion is designed to mimic the transformative brightening, smoothing effects of the microdermabrasion treatment at home.I have neither used it nor heard about it.So,was really hoping its gonna work well and i tried it once till now and i must say it makes the skin soft but no brightening effect.The tube is really small and full size is really expensive.But it is worth a try.

2. Elizabeth Mott Pop! goes the Shadow (full size $12.99) 

I liked this Eyeshadow but not loved it.It has a beautiful Champagne color and has shimmers too.I have tried it 2-3 times.Its very creamy but does not stay that long on eyes even with the base.Also i have tons of eyeshadows so it's like ok to have.

3. Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil (sample $15) 

I love Eye Pencils for creating smoky looks and even for my waterline and no doubt this pencil is so smooth and the color is so rich.Totally loved it.I am surely gonna buy full size.

4.StarLooks Longwear Lip Pencil(Full Size $14) 

I don't like this pencil at all.The shade of this is Peachy nude and doesn't compliment my skin tone.I didn't try it so i don't know whether its longwear or not.The only thing which i liked is that it glides on smoothly.

5.Coastal Scents Medium Shadow Brush (Value $2.49) 

I love my Real Techniques EyeShadow Brush.I have never tried Coastal Scents Brushes.The Quality of the brush is very good.The bristles are soft but when i used this it didn't pick up that much product.So,i am not a big fan of this.

I didn't like this month's products besides Urban Decay eye pencil.
